Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment of temporary technical posts in the pay scale as mentioned against each at National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal & its Regional Station at Kalyani (WB) as per details given below:

T-6 (W/S) - Electrical - 01 (One) (UR )
Pay Scale : Rs.8000-275- 13500
Qualifications : Master's Degree in Electrical Engg. or equivalent qualification from a recognized university

T-6(W/S), Mechanical (ERS, Kalyani) - 01 (One) OBC
Pay Scale : Rs.8000-275- 13500
Qualifications :Master's Degree in Mechanical Engg. or equivalent qualification from a recognized university

T-6(W/S), Instrun - 01 (One) (UR)
Pay Scale :Rs.8000-275- 13500
Qualifications :Master's Degree in Instrumentation Engg. or equivalent qualification from a recognized university

T-6(W/S), Instrun - 1 (One) (UR)
Pay Scale :Rs.8000-275- 13500
Qualifications : Master's Degree in Instrumentation Engg. or equivalent qualification from a recognized university

T-3(W/S), Electrical - 01 (One) (UR)
Pay Scale :Rs.4500-125- 7000
Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree/ Three years diploma in Electrical Engg. or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university

T-3(W/S), Refrigeration - 01 (One) (ST)
Pay Scale :Rs.4500-125- 7000
Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Refrigeration and air conditioning OR Three years diploma in Mechanical Engineering having working experience in Refrigeration and air conditioning

T-3(W/S), Plant Operator - 01 (One) (OBC)
Pay Scale :Rs.4500-125- 7000
Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Three years diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Age Limit:
a) For the posts mentioned at Sl.No.1 to 4 the age should be between 18 years to 35 years and for remaining posts between 18 years to 30 years.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ABOVE POSTS:-
1. The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum and enhanced qualification does not entail candidates to be called for written test/practical test/interview. Where the number of applications received in response to the advt. are large and it will not be convenient or possible for the Institute to call all those candidates for written test/practical test/interview, the Director, NDRI, Karnal reserves the right to fix the criteria for calling the candidates on the basis of qualification, experience etc. After screening the applications, the candidates will be called for written test/practical test and interview.
2.These posts are non-government but pensonable as per introduction of new pension scheme i.e on contribution basis. The service conditions are mutatis-mutandis of Central Govt. employees.
3. All posts are temporary but likely to continue. Candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for these posts with regard to qualifications and age.
4. Persons already in employment should route their application through proper channel.
5. Un-employed SC/ST/PH candidates called for interview will be paid 2nd class train/bus fare by the shortage route as per rule. But no fare will be paid for written test.
6. No correspondence will be entertained from any candidates for selection/test/interview/appointment. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
7. Candidates are advised to send attested copies of each certificate or any other authentic document in support of their age alongwith mark-sheets and other caste certificates etc. with their applications.
8. The application should be submitted to the Sr.Admn.Officer, E.II(T) Section, National Dairy Research Institute(ICAR), Karnal-132001 within 30 days from the date of appearance of the Advt. in Employment News paper in the proforma appended strictly type-written accompanied by a latest pass-port size photograph duly attested by Gazetted Officer alongwith Examination fee (Non-refundable) of Rs.100/-(One Hundred Only) for each post is to be sent in the shape of Crossed Indian Postal Order / Bank Draft drawn in the favour of ICAR-UNIT-NDRI, Karnal and payable at Karnal with the name of the Candidate, post name & Sl.No. written on its backside. Candidates belonging to SC/ST & PH are not required to pay any fee. No fee exemption is, however, available to OBC candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
9. Application not accompanied by the prescribed fee or incomplete or defective or unsigned declaration or without certified copies of their certificates viz. without proof of qualification, age and caste certificate shall be summarily rejected. No representation or correspondence regarding such rejection shall be entertained under any circumstances.
10. The candidates may utilize the original form published in News Papers, fill up the Column in their own handwriting. The envelope containing the application form should super-scribed in bold letters as “Application for the post of____________________, Sl.No.________________ & Category: UR/SC/ST/OBC/PHC “as the case may be. Separate application should be submitted for each post and Serial No. of other posts(s) applied for be given in each application form in the column provided with prescribed fee.
11. The selected candidates will be posted at Karnal. The selected candidate against the post shown at Sl.No.2 will be posted at Eastern Regional Station, Kalyani (Kolkata) (WB). However, appointee will be liable to serve in any Institute(s) of ICAR located anywhere in India .
12. APPLICATION RECEIVED AFTER DUE DATE FOR ANY REASON INCLUDING POSTAL DELAY BE SUMMARILY REJECTED.
